Jagadeesh Ramdas is a pediatric oncologist in active practice since 2002, with a strong focus on compassionate care and cancer control research aimed at reducing treatment-related late effects. He has held leadership roles within the Children’s Oncology Group, including vice chair of the CCOP, and served as chair of the ACCL0431 clinical trial evaluating sodium thiosulfate to prevent cisplatin-induced hearing loss—a study that contributed to FDA approval of the therapy. At Geisinger, he continues to advance pediatric cancer control research and currently serves as principal investigator for more than 40 COG cooperative clinical trials.
