Expertise

Ana Morales is an associate professor in the Department of Genomic Health. She is a board-certified and licensed genetic counselor, as well as an NIH-funded investigator with specialized expertise in implementation science and cardiovascular genetics. Her research focuses on enhancing the reach and effectiveness of genetics-informed care, particularly through knowledge translation in conditions such as familial hypercholesterolemia, cardiomyopathy, and arrhythmia. Ms. Morales is also a former president of the American Board of Genetic Counseling.
