Juliann Savatt is a genetic counselor and Assistant Professor in the Department of Genomic Health at Geisinger whose work focuses on using genomic and health data to improve understanding of genomic conditions and patient care. She has clinical experience in cancer genetics and pediatric neurodevelopmental care and currently co‑directs the Geisinger MyCode Community Health Initiative Genomic Screening and Counseling Program, which returns clinically actionable results to participants. Her research emphasizes outcomes of population‑based genomic screening, characterization of variant prevalence and penetrance in Mendelian conditions using large cohorts, and advancing patient‑centered data sharing through registries.
